PRISM STAR TRAINING
Eating Disorder Awareness
Eating disorders involve more than food and can affect people in different ways. Build understanding that helps staff recognise concerns, approach conversations sensitively and offer respectful support, while avoiding assumptions about appearance, motivation or what recovery should look like.
Eating disorders involve more than food and can affect people in different ways. Build understanding that helps staff recognise concerns, approach conversations sensitively and offer respectful support, while avoiding assumptions about appearance, motivation or what recovery should look like.
Consider the effect of language, relationships and everyday routines on the person's experience. CARE PROVIDERS, FOR CARE PROVIDERS
Learning connected to everyday practice
Our work in care services reminds us how much thoughtful listening, early recognition of changes and an appropriate response can matter. We bring that perspective to learning about mental health, with a focus on understanding people, supporting conversations and recognising when further help is needed.
