People experience epilepsy differently, and good support depends on knowing the individual. Build awareness of seizure experiences, personal plans and changing needs, helping staff respond more consistently and communicate clearly before, during and after situations that require attention.

Explore the information teams need to understand a person's usual presentation and agreed support arrangements. Practical discussion considers dignity, everyday participation and the importance of recording and escalating concerns, while keeping the person's own knowledge and preferences central to the way support is planned.
