Oral healthcare can affect comfort, eating, communication and confidence. Explore how to support personal routines respectfully, recognise concerns and involve the person in decisions, helping staff make oral care a thoughtful part of everyday support rather than an overlooked task.
Consider individual preferences, communication and the level of assistance someone needs.
