PRISM STAR TRAINING

Privacy & Dignity Awareness

Privacy and dignity are experienced through small everyday interactions. Explore how staff language, routines and the use of personal space can protect or undermine them, helping your team make support more respectful, individual and responsive to what matters to each person.

Privacy and dignity are experienced through small everyday interactions. Explore how staff language, routines and the use of personal space can protect or undermine them, helping your team make support more respectful, individual and responsive to what matters to each person.

Use familiar care situations to consider consent, confidentiality and the choices people are offered. Reflect on how to notice concerns, challenge unhelpful habits constructively and involve people in describing the experience they want, making dignity a shared responsibility across the service.
